Abington Bank Supports AEF
Andy Raczka, President of Abington Bank, presents a check for $630 to Jack Porcello, President of the AEF. Abington Bank is donating $10 for every new Green Wave checking account.
The Abington Education Foundation proudly presents an event for the whole family! Last year's show was a sell out success. Abington's first through fifth grade classrooms have developed the questions, and each fifth grade class will have a team to help out the contestants. It's a show to entertain children and adults of all ages, based on the popular TV game show. Come and cheer on some of your favorite school prinicpals and staff and see if your question can stump them! Refreshments will be available for purchase. Tickets are $3 each and will be available through your child's classroom or from any AEF board member. Join us on Saturday, January 30th at 7:00 PM at the High School Gym for a great time.

Get your tickets now for the cash raffle. Tickets are $20 each with only 600 tickets to be sold. Three prizes to be awarded, $2,000, $1,00 and $500. The drawing will take place at the Smarter Than a Fifth Grader Event on January 30th. See any board member for your ticket.
Join us on Friday October 2, 2009 at Pembroke Country Club for our annual golf outing.
Pembroke Country Club is a championship 18 hole golf course acknowledged by Boston Magazine as the best Boston area public golf course. Unlike many public courses, Pembroke pays close attention to course conditions. The secluded par 71 course challenges the player with three demanding par fives and four par fours over 420 yards!
Pembroke Country Club is located at 94 West Elm Street in Pembroke, MA. Although just 30 minutes south of Boston, the fairways, lined by tall stately pines, make you feel that you are deep in the Berkshires.
Registration will begin at 7:00AM, with a shotgun start at 8:00AM. Best ball format with prizes for longest drive for men and women, closest to the pin, orange ball and putting contest. Lunch, raffles and silent auctions begin immediately following. We look forward to seeing you at the tournament.
